OSRAM Shines a Light on Training

The first OSRAM “Learn and Earn” interactive training programme was held on Wednesday 18th June at the CSIR in Pretoria, with great success.

Responding to trends in the industry, OSRAM showed how electrical contractors, electricians and customers can harness the latest electronic control gear, fluorescent and energy saving lamps to develop their business and turn a tidy profit.

A short presentation was given by Eric Hall, Business Unit Manager, OSRAM, and the group was then divided in 2 for hands on training wiring fittings with electronic control gear and fluorescents and Halotronic Mouse transformers and IRC Dichroic lamps. After the tea break, the groups swapped rooms and products. The training closed with a certificate being handed to each participant.

Electronic control gear from OSRAM is noted for its state of the art circuit design and high quality components and these ECG’s achieve their optimum functionality when operating as a system in conjunction with lamps from OSRAM.

The next “Learn and Earn” training session will be held on 2nd July at Emperor’s Palace.
