A big hit in colour rendering
Compared with conventional fluorescent lamps, LUMILUX offers:

• Much better colour rendering: Ra 80-89 (instead of Ra 50-79 for BASIC lamps)
• Uniformly good colour rendering - throughout the entire colour spectrum

This means that there is a considerable improvement in colour rendering. Illuminated objects appear in their natural colours, which is particularly important for shop lighting, for example, and also for high-quality lighting in the home. Fit for the future
LUMILUX already meets the requirements of the new European standard EN 12464-1 for workplaces - and makes conventional fluorescent lamps look even more old-fashioned: "Lamps with a colour rendering index of Ra < 80 should not be used in rooms in which people work or stay for lengthy periods."
